Judith L. Watts joined Picardi, Philips & Ottaviano as an associate in January 2012.
She has a diverse general practice with a specialization in all aspects of Family Law, including
child custody, support and divorce. Her practice also includes Criminal Law, Protection From
Abuse matters, Landlord Tenant, and Wills and Estate Law.
Mrs. Watts received her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from West Chester University in
1991, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She graduated from Dickinson School of Law in 1994 and
was admitted to practice law the same year.
Mrs. Watts began her legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in Chester County,
Pennsylvania where she tried many cases and earned the rank of Senior Trial Attorney.
Following a successful eight-year career as Assistant District Attorney, Mrs. Watts became an
associate at a small private law firm in Pottstown, Pennsylvania where she practiced civil and
criminal law. Mrs. Watts also served as a Special Assistant Public Defender in Montgomery
County for 17 years.
Mrs. Watts is a former member of the Board of Directors of the YWCA Tri-County Area and the
Pottstown Cluster of Religious Communities. She was a team captain and volunteer for the
Relay for Life of Pottstown and Bark for Life of Pottstown. For more information, please call
