Gregory W. Philips is a 2000 graduate of the Temple University Beasley School of Law and a 1986 graduate of Temple University’s College of Engineering and Architecture.
He was admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania in 2001 and is admitted to practice before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and the United States Tax Court.
A partner with Yergey Daylor since 2010, he concentrates is law practice in the areas of municipal, zoning, construction, debtor and creditor’s Rights, estate planning, administration and litigation, and civil litigation. His municipal clients include the Schwenksville Borough Zoning Hearing Board, the Upper Montgomery Joint Authority, the Pottstown Borough Zoning Hearing Board, Elverson Borough, and the North Coventry Municipal and Water Authorities.
Mr. Philips is an active member of his community. He currently serves as an Upper Merion Township Supervisor, He is the former general counsel to the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce and currently serves as General Counsel to the Seabee Historical Foundation and the Seabee Memorial Scholarship Association. He is a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, Notre Dame Division No. I, the Montgomery Bar Association, where he served as the Chair of the Bankruptcy Committee, and a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association.
